Crusty Overlord Glacier

Strong overnight NE winds scoured most alpine slopes above the Kees and Claire hut. Skied the Overlord glacier from the Whirlwind col down to 1650m. Mixed bag of snow conditions - grabby chalky snow, supportive wind crust and light powder. Probed 180-220cm in lower glacier. Ascent up Russet Creek on NE slope had 3cm breakable crust. Singing Pass is fast and icy right now.
