Up Dick Creek

took the sleds up Dick Creek to look at a few steeper lines today. A few centimetres of new snow covers old wind affected surfaces. On direct south slopes the new snow overlies a sun crust. Surprisingly we saw very little wind effect in the new snow. We saw a few small point releases within the new snow in steep terrain but no step downs. The low hazard and the new snow made for fun, fast skiing. Stellar time to be out at Haines Pass.
