Hollyburn xc

Dug a quick pit off the hollyburn trail near the xc area. About 40cm of fist-density storm snow on top of knife-density hard pack. Shovel shear test was very reactive - the storm slab slid out before the shovel reached down to the layer of concern and before any pressure was applied. Extended column test, however, showed no propagations. Fracture within the storm snow (about 5cm down, probably from the break in the weather Saturday) that fractured on 4th wrist tap but did not drop or propagate. 40cm Storm slab fractured on 5th elbow tap but again did not drop or propagate.
