Brew day

Good day out. Can see the layers from the forecast (pwl halfway down). Well supported up top. New snow not slabby at all except in alpine where wind effected. Alpine riding not good. Low down (1600m)the snow underneath was quite hard, like riding a resort. Dumped twice on us. Windy in the alpine from the east. Evidence of cross loading.

Moderate at 30cm on top of a relatively thin crust. Hard result after that, after 1 blow.FFailed twice, once at 45cm and once at 70cm. Looked like facets and buried surface hoar to me but I'm no expert.
