Morning Crust

Absolutely terrible crusty skiing this morning. We saw the hardened remnants of a small (size 1) avalanche on a steeper slope (+30 degrees) in a gully feature, and large tree bomb blocks and craters from the day before had hardened overnight. A small dusting of powder atop a very breakable, thick, nearly un-skiable crust made for a pretty awful lap and early departure.
