Plan A was to go to Bow Peak but we bailed on it when we saw the conditions on the Parkway and headed to Crowfoot glades.
-6°C at the car at 10am.
30cm+ of new snow in this area with really strong winds and a lot of snow transport, first in the alpine and later down to the valley bottom and the road. Lots of natural avalanches and sluffs around all morning.
We could see all the summits and ridges on the Parkway being blown away by strong winds all day.
The snow was deep and powdery, amazing skiing in the glades.
