Broiled Powder...

Variable snow textures made for challenging turns. Mixed bag of breakable crust, supportive crust, hard slab, soft slab and ice. Ski cutting and stumping on wind loaded features did not produce any result. Ski quality was a much greater hazard than snow stability. Strong SW winds were sustained all day. Minimal snow transport occurred today as most available snow had already been blown across the Alberta border... Temps were near 0c. Nevertheless, it was great to get the legs moving and suck in the vitamin D! ;-) Time for a snow dance!
