On the walk-off descent from This House of Sky, we triggered a small wet/loose slide on the south aspect of the ridge just below the fixed line that helps negotiate the steep slab in the burned out forest. One person was butt-sliding down to retrieve a pole that had slid away. When he dug his heels in to stop, a point release occurred ~1m below his feet, which initiated a 1 to 1.5 oatmeal style slide that ran almost to the edge and on to the climb below. The snowpack was thin and it would not have caused burial, but it was wet and heavy enough that it took full dead trees with it, and could have caused injury by bashing a person against trees or run them over the edge if it had kept going. It was a good reminder that although "it's just the Ghost, there's not enough snow for avalanche risk" we should always be paying attention. Especially in the spring.
