Shames Powder Day

A meter of new snow up high since Monday and high winds kept us out of the alpine. Skied treeline and below on south and west aspects finding great surfy dry powder. Ski pen 15-30cm, foot pen 100+cm. Winds were having there way with alpine features and an afternoon sun started cooking steep solar aspects. Saw a skier accidental size 1 wind slab over the skin track up on to the Dome. Winds were moderate seemingly from all directions, temperatures cold, ski conditions very good.
