Photo is representative but taken after hours in return through resort. Good skiing on corn on low angle solar. Still fine skiing on Polar aspects, especially challenging terrain Strong radiational refreeze the past night.

Avalanche Information

Widespread cycle to 1.5 during p.m. hours in Spearhead and Fitzsimmons Ranges. Solar, steep aspects only.

Snowpack

On solar aspe ts 20cm of dense wet snow sits over facetted grains in simple terrain. Refreeze over night. On complex steep solar facing snow is wet to 60cm with air temps to 11C at 1500 hrs. Steep northerly aspects ski wintery still. Pots of movement in 45+ degree terrain. Photo is from inside ski area on way out after hours. SE facing loose wet entertaining in steep terrain to 50cm deep. Debris estimated at 70m3.
