Oboe quick check

Photo looking back to cowboy ridge. Hiking up from oboe creek to oboe found snow depths between 30cm-60cm. Crust under the storm snow was very supportive. Couldn’t get the handle of my pole through it in multiple spots. Did a quick hand shear test and snow was bonding well to the layer and was not well consolidated, did not feel slabby. Did not see any signs of instability, did a few hard cuts on mini convexities and nothing moved.
