Alpine was getting hammered by southwest winds. Saw size 0.5-1 natural (probably thin windslab) in first bowl of the torpy. Winds were very strong so we went back down into the valley. Found some fun along the road past the cabin. Had a gravel pit fail on the surface hoar layer 40-60cm down. Surprising propagation and run length considering size(small) and steepness(very short convexity) of slope. No shooting cracks or whumpfs at all throughout the day either.
