Poked around the mosquito creek area and it's still early season out there. The snowpack was 60-100 cm at tree line, 3/4 of which was unconsolidated (in non-exposed) storm snow overlaying a facet layer. There was some slab development with a few shooting cracks in more exposed areas at treeline.
The snowpack wasn't supportive at all, which made for tough travel and a few shark bites. It would have been unreal skiing if there was a supportive base for the storm snow.
