Hardpack in the sun

We took a ski tour up the front side of log cabin to take advantage of the temperature inversion. Ski quality was rough up top, hardpack but the crust was not breaking. In the trees we managed to get a few soft turns. We did not see any recent avalanche activity or signs of snowpack instability.
