Houston Telkwas

AST 1 course in Houston Telkwas. 75 cm snowpack depth in sheltered areas at treeline. Hoar frost evident on surface to upper end of treeline, but nuked by wind in the alpine. Shallow snowpack has 20-30cm of sugary old snow over the raincrust from mid november. No recent avalanches observed, no signs of instabilty noted... however, not the best snowpack structure for the future.
