Hogs Back Tour

Did runs on both the west side on Picnic and on east side of Hogs Back on Grand Couloir. Attempted to go down bacon but skinned back up because top of chute had a lot of exposed rock. Snowed intermittently all day, accumulated maybe an inch. Also partly sunny intermittently. Snow was heavy, wet, sticky. Had to wax skins and scrape ice build up from bottoms/edges of skis. Caused one very tiny sluff when skiing down, snow made lots of pinwheels/rollers on first run around 2pm. Thin layer on top of ice. Second run at 5pm snow was wetter/heavier.
