Quick Observation
Much less new snow at Glacier than in the Shames area. The landscape remains dominated by debris from the large avalanche cycle during the warm-up. The only notable activity in the limited new snow above the crust likely occurred yesterday morning when the sun came out, although it's possible it's older: it initiated as a point release and took out most of a steep (high 30s) degree slope, running ~400m vertical and getting to be about 40m wide. The debris skied nicely on the way down with the sun warming it up. Noticeable wind transport in the alpine (a skin track from yesterday was partially filled in), but there just isn't much to move around. The skiing was predominantly quite pleasant, creamy and supportive.
