The plan was to stay below the treeline due to the High avalanche risk in the alpine. We dug a pit on our way up and the snowpack seemed pretty stable. 2 tests and did not manage to have it fail. Skinned around the open area/boulder field and skied the edge of it. I skinned back for a second lap and remote triggered a sizable part of the overhead cliffs. Luckily, my partners were waiting in a safe area and no one was hurt. The crown was about 1m deep. Otherwise, the snowpack was generally good and not too reactive in the trees.
