Sootip skiing

Skied off the South face of sootip which was surprisingly good with a bit of fluffy powder mixed with occasional sun crust & wind crust. Started skinning / skied down to 1500m. Tree skiing was all hard or icy snow but the upper meadows (around 1800m) had some softer powder. It was mostly cloudy all day, not too warm or cold. We didn’t observe any obvious problems in the snowpack.
