Route to Kees & Claire Hut

Snow quality was excellent from the top of Flute down to roughly 1800 m (about three-quarters of the way down Oboe). Below that elevation, the snow became noticeably heavier with a thin crust forming on the surface. As we climbed toward Cowboy Ridge, conditions shifted and the snow became increasingly wind-affected. West-facing slopes held good, skiable snow, while east-facing slopes were significantly wind-affected.
