We went for a Robinson Ridge sled mission today. We rode up to almost 1200 m before getting turned around due to poor visibility. There was up to 55 cm of storm snow from the past few days. We played in the low angle meadows avoiding the larger steeper slopes. Compression tests revealed a couple storm snow interfaces but we were unable to locate the Jan 9th or the Dec 23 persistent weak layers where we were digging. Our main concern in the snowpack today was storm slab and windslab.
