Gray creek pass

Extremely stable show but heavy and crusty. Quality of the ski runs was Ok, had some fun turns but never linked together a full run of powder. Only found patches here and there. It’s possible that quality could get better with the new snow and continued colder temps

Gray creek pass

Went skiing up towards Sphinx mt near Gray Creek pass using some logging roads to gain access. Still lots of early season hazards down low with about 40cm of new snow on the logging roads. Survival skiing in the trees with some good turns in mellow terrain near tree line.

Sanca creek, near Sherman Lake

Some cracking with kick turns, but not as unstable feeling as I thought it was going to be. Probably because there wasn’t enough snow on the ground to begin with where I was skiing. The skiing wasn’t great. Just too unconsolidated.
