Quick Observation

New snow and old snow are not playing nice. Very easy to send a small slab when ski cutting. It’s still soft on top, ski cuts propagate down and away. Once the new snow sets up, it could be interesting. By the way, just found out that if you post a report here, no matter how big or small, you can win stuff from AvalancheCanada. Pretty cool, only takes a few minutes. Thanks south Rockies team!

Avalanche Information

Ski cuts produced small slabs that would run far and gather momentum. Easy to manage from the top, as the slab would never pull out from above, but if someone was below there was enough snow to make trouble.
