Whumpfs and wind effect

Little change from previous MIN posts. Widespread whumpfing to tree line; nothing in the alpine. No new avalanches seen, sledders nearby were stepping out with their terrain use and nothing seen moving. HARD wind slab (with some variability) in the alpine, giving mixed ski quality. Approx 50 cm over the mid Jan ice layer. Great weather for touring, and pleasantly warm when winds were calm.
