We’re in the transition from good powder a few days ago to wet spring snow. It was +3 and drizzling at the truck, but that passed and there was intermittent snow higher up. We saw a cornice fall avalanche from the main peak, probably from yesterday. There was also a slab release below an intact cornice that might have been remote triggered by the cornice fall. Snowpack is very well settled and felt stable where we went. But it was so sticky and grabby that skiing was terrible. Winds were SW light to moderate.
