Our group travelled up to the Alpine, and the summit was unsurprisingly rocky and windy. Skiing low angle gullies from the alpine summit provided well supported fast buckle top pow. A breakable crust was found at ~1600. Rime?
Overall the East facing slope was mid boot powder, felt supportive and rode very good.
ECTX: In open tree line glade (~30° slope, 1235 m), 145 cm snowpack depth, Dec 4th crust found at 64 cm, with associated decomposing facets.
