Avalanche Information

Observed quite a bit of whumphing when breaking trail on Paul Ridge and in the small valley N of the ridge. Saw lots of tracks on the steeper face of Round Mountain and in the steeper gullies below the ridge with no signs of instability. When we rounded over to the furthest bowl we saw a fairly large (for the area) natural slide that appeared to occur yesterday. Went up to check it out on our way out but it had already started to be covered by new snow. The crown appeared to be 30-35cms deep. Note: we were out 12/31 between 9am and 4pm. App isn't letting me change to the correct time.
