Skied a lap in the tree triangle where ski quality was good but a little choppy due to the many tracks from the past few days. Second lap was in the glades leading to the pillow area/creek east of the tree triangle. Better skiing there with some very deep turns. Things were definitely touchy on any steeper terrain. We easily triggered some pockets/storm slabs on small creek slopes (see photo). Heard numerous avalanches all morning. And saw what appeared to be a size 1.5 in one of the fan below Crow Bow, with a very obvious crown. Hard to observe due to poor vis.
Reactive small storm slabs (S0.5) in a small but steep creek slope.
