The snowpack in Hoback Canyon is beginning to transition as spring arrives. A pit dug on NNW aspect at 7800' had a depth of 175cm and multiple crusts and faceted layers. ECT did not propagate, however, wailing on the column after the test produced propagation beneath a rain crust from early February.
