Afternoon lap out to Rhor Lake. We mostly stuck to mellow slopes and trees, but did ride the edge of some steeper slopes and the edge of the avi/slide path off the west end of Rhor Lake on the way out (no slide activity observed on this slope). Did not observe any signs of natural or human triggered avalanche activity at any point during the day, and from our observations the snowpack appeared fairly stable. A few hasty hand-dug pits on the way up did not suggest the presence of surface hoar directly below the approximately 20-30cm of blower powder on the surface. Overall a great day out and excellent skiing.
