Quick Observation
Went for a ski tour up Jimmy Junior Peak. Travel below treeline was fairly smoothe with some crusty sections. Ski crampons were very helpful for steep rising traverse above the bench. Brought boot crampons in case needed for the summit but didn't need them, but found the ice axe helpful. Snow quality at the top of the run was amazing with surfy pow turns, turning more crusty lower down in the alpine. Exited through the most prominent slide path; gully was soft and rode well. -24 warming to -12, no wind and full sun. No signs of instability or recent avalanche activity noted.
