Windslab at treeline

Party was returning after a great day on Phalanx glacier. Snow went from unconsolidated to hard pack and first skier triggered the avalanche and went for a little ride, no burial or partial burial. Our party ran into the same avalanche problem (Localized windslab pockets at treeline or just above treeline) while crossing the different poop chutes while making our way back to the Blackcomb glacier.
