There was wet snow from the parking lot up until about 1450 metres where it started to get a bit drier. Small cracks as we walked for most of the day, and some storm snow slabbing off above tree wells. We continued up to around 1800 metres and found some awesome turns in the trees with some slough slowly following us. Once we approached the open gully with a rollover entrance, we entered in a low consequence area and triggered a small storm slab (pictured). Slab looked to be 30-40 cm deep and ran about 5-8 cms above the major crust.
