<p>ECTN16 ~35cm RP: fractures below compression and was resistant planar, it was not a full propagation across the column.
ECTP24 54cm SP: sudden planar - propagated across the full extended column and released block. Storm slab sitting on a harder crust layer.
Only dug to ~1m so I was mainly looking for the storm slab and cannot comment on potential older weak layers.
We enjoyed mellow slopes back to the parking lot. The powder was deep and got a little heavy lower down. Lots of people out skiing. Additionally, chains are mandatory as per usual!
