A good weekend of skiing at Cameron Lake. Forum Ridge had some patchy wind crust below tree line in the burn, with increasing breadth and frequency of slabs above 2000m. The skiing was good all weekend though. The best snow was in tighter areas of the burn with the top of the ridge being the most wind affected. On Monday, January 20th we saw what looked like a day old size 1 avalanche off the NE bowl of Mt Rowe. The wind was howling when we left with obvious wind transport at higher elevations.
