Wet surface snow in low angle lower elevations. Wind pressed, but not slabbed snow on the alpine slopes. Skied a SE to E aspect run. Dug do look for the Mar 15th PWL but found no evidence of it. Snow was well consolidated in the column and right side up (fist for first 20, 4F for next 20cm, 1F for the balance of column (pit was 1m deep). No failure in a column test. Column was dug just about the tree line. Air temps of -3.5C only at the summit at turn around time in the early afternoon. Temps +3C at the Num-ti-jah parking lot on our return.
