it was a great powder day at Kootenay Pass, temperatures stayed around -6C, the winds were light with strong gust with lots of snow transport during convective storms with heavy snow showers during the short storm cycles. Dug a pit at EL 1950metres, HST was around 2.0 metres and got a hard planer shear at 45 cm CT 25
We saw some old avalanche activity from yesterday, no whumping or cracking in the snow pack.
