We found northerly aspects to still be quite wind affected in the alpine and open treeline. Solar aspects now have a suncrust and make for poor ski quality. Only signs of recent avalanche activity were loose dry up to size 1 out of extreme terrain. No signs of slabs anywhere. Lots of slope testing by sledders, snow bikes and skiers in steep convex alpine areas. Widespread surface hoar growth and faceting over supportive rain crust in sheltered areas.
