Quick Observation

Natural avalanches from yesterday (May 20th) could be seen on all aspects essentially on every slope. Most would be wet loose, or cornice failures, but saw a couple of evidences of slabs. Heard one moving off Blackcomb peak around 2pm but didn't actually see it. Solar radiation was very effective today, melting the top layer of snow on most aspects. N stayed cooler and skied quite well even into the late afternoon. Stayed off the S slopes of Disease ridge as we didn't get there until it was too late. Got some whumpfing on a very mellow S slope.
