Snowpack tests. RB2 half block down 24cm. Mod soft wind slab over lower sensity facets. 33 degree slope on WNW asp at 1865m. Crossloaded slope with total snow depth of 418cm. RB5 2/3 of block down 60-62 on surface hoar to 9mm over rounding facetted grains over 170216cr. Persistent slab above is pencil density for the 35cm directly above SH layer. SH/facet layer is 4 finger. Second Rutschblock four metre away failed RB3 down 24 (wdsl) but persistent slab did not fail until "gorilla jump" from above onto slab. SH/rounding facets down 78-82 in this test. PS slab lower 54cm pencil density. Excellent skiing in trees with 45cm ski penetration.
