<p>Steep south aspects were becoming moist by midday. Some pinwheeling and loose sluffing observed. Widespread natural avalanche cycle in the past 24-72+ hours. Numerous size 1-2.5 in recent storm snow and evidence of many size 1.5-3 slabs failing on the Jan 24 persistent weak layer. Avalanches were evident on all aspects on most slopes over 35 degrees. Some recent wind effect noted along ridges and cornices are getting large. Picture shows visible crowns on the NW side of Mount Bonnycastle.</p>
