Quick Observation

Snow started at ~700m on the Wedge IPP road and skiable above that. Conditions below the lake were marginal with a dust on crust. Measured 115cm snow depth at 2000m on the Wedgemount Glacier. Some recent avalanche debris off Rethel NF ran down to the lake. Didn't see evidence of slab so assumed cornice fall triggering storm snow. Wedge couloir was nicely consolidated storm snow with no noticeable crust. Short rock step to top out. Upper S Face of Wedge was windswept with ~30kph wind on the summit and probably about -10C. Good skiing in the couloir and on the glacier. Colder on the way down in the afternoon.
