Avalanche Information

No signs of instability on the ascent, but temperature was warm. First skier entered into Equinox run (NE aspect) off NW Ridge of Mt Chief Pascal. Avalanche released while traversing across the top of a convex roll with uninvolved skier safely reaching a supported slope to the side. Trigger point was on the top left (looking up in picture) and propagated 30-40m to the right. No other signs of instability for the remainder of the run. Snow quality in the alpine bowl: wind scoured with ~3cm crust Snow quality in trees and below ~1900m: slightly heavy powder
