I remote triggered a small avalanche, the first photo. Was very alarming how easy it set off and how far away I was. Investigating the slope, and staying well away from danger I triggered a second large avalanche (2nd photo) that ran many 100s of meters thru the trees. crown of both was recent storm snow about 20cm. Trying to get a good picture, we found another avalanche that appeared to have been a remote trigger from an earlier group. It was not visible from their skin track. We turned around and skied what we felt was a very safe slope. We had skied the same slopes the day before. Was stable and good skiing the day before with a thin ice crust on the surface.
