Quick Observation
We rode home run out. Upper third was good supportive powder. Around half way to the skin track the snow became heavier and the new snow shallower. We triggered a shallow size 1 avalanche on a tight convex roll. The crown was maybe 10 to 15cm at it's thickest and 5-10m wide. The picture is tough to see but below the skier is the runout of the avalanche.
