Hummingbird Pass Observations

AST 1 observations from a tour south of Hummingbird Pass: We traveled in BTL terrain between 1500-1700m where we observed a snowpack that sits mostly below threshold. Snow heights average 60-70cms and the Nov surface hoar layer is down about 25cm. We observed many whumfs and shooting cracks on the layer throughout the day, but did not observe any natural acitivity. Cautioning this layer after the next storm.
