Early bird gets the turns

Early start in anticipation of warm daytime temps. Good overnight freeze meant we were thankful for ski crampons. We saw several small loose wet avalanches on steep sunny slopes from the last day or two. One-at-a-time across the one exposed slope to get onto the Anniversary glacier and we were good to go! Snow above 1900 m skied surprisingly well.
