Avalanche Information

You could hear avalanches all morning ripping in the Valley of Certain Doom, some wet avalanche sign in various locations in Shames Valley

Weather

S1 most of the day in Shames Valley we were mostly in elevation bands between 1200-800m - Freezing level appeared to be near 800m according to the ski out. Pretty heavy snow, rimed snow crystals at surface snow most of day. Wind picked up over the day, from light to moderate, blowing from the South West.

Snowpack

A lot of load was added to the snowpack in the past two days. Very heavy snow.
