P Valley

Pretty good early season skiing at treeline in powder valley. Very thin at bottom of ski in. Snowpack is not very supportive. Lots of cross loading above treeline and some recent natural size 1 avalanches initiating on steeper cross loaded slopes. Lots of whumphing throughout the day. Stuck to mellow slopes and were grateful to be out.
