Avalanche Information
Our group went up the Dome to assess conditions in the alpine. As we skied down the mellow slopes of the Dome to gain a less exposed entrance than the top one, we remote triggered a size 1 that propagated to a second one, both on a different aspect than we we were actually skiing but close enough to destabilize the upper snowpack. It triggered about 20m from our tracks, on the mid-North Bowl slope. We avoided skiing in there, and kept to the shoulder, avoiding steep rolls above trees. Further down the Dome shoulder, a solo skier triggered a small 0.5 below his skis and went for a short ride.
